Kountry Folks Homestyle Restaurant

Stopped here while my wife was seeing her doc at the Kaiser around the corner from this restaurant. So glad we did! Delicious homestyle food with friendly service. The stuffed French toast and biscuits and gravy are amazing. The restaurant has an old diner feel which I appreciate. I loved the bench swings in the waiting area, reminded me of a dock at waterfront park in Charleston, S.C. that has these swings down to the end. Highly recommend!

2025 Giving another review, came here for breakfast with my mom, brother, and aunt and we had an awesome time. The fried chicken benedict was tasty and their over easy eggs with hash brown and sausage patties are delish. If you have time to check out their dessert counter u would recommend you do so. They bake from scratch so it’s a must to try it. I recommend anyone to at least try this place once for breakfast. 2023 The food here is tasty. It’s a good place to come with family and enjoy a hefty country style breakfast. The service is great and the food comes in big portions. I recommend to experience having breakfast here.

I have not been able to find a proper Southern meal since moving to California from Georgia. This place hit the spot. Authentic southern feel with both the food and atmosphere. Our server, Hope, was utterly lovely and welcoming, and even made sure we were set up with dessert to take home. We took home leftovers as well!! The chicken specifically is tender, fall off the bone, with crispy skin that is insanely flavorful. Highly worth the wait. Country fried steak was also tender, easy to cut, with PHENOMENAL white gravy. Rest assured, we will be back with just as healthy an appetite as last time.

Perfect if you want to eat out but still enjoy that home made taste. Chicken is fried to order, loads of desserts if you're craving sweets. A wide but simple menu range. Servers seem to be pretty busy and sometimes you get passed over though nothing too terrible and they're all plenty friendly. So far we've been twice and Everytime we enjoy t our plates. We plan to continue our visits.

OMG totally delicious and fresh food. The ribs were damn good, tender, and good bbq sauce. Now the fried chicken was hotttt, fresh fried, and tasty. Good cold beer. The service was friendly and fast. I will 100% go back.

Took my granddaughter out to eat food was good like always but service on this day was lacking waited 20 min for someone to take our order.

Yes, yes, and yes! You need to come here and just eat. Everything was so good and downright full of flavor. Hearty, good old American food. The restaurant kind of has an old school diner mixed with a cabin vibe. The bakery has some good-looking desserts. Recommend you eat something sweet when you come give this place a try. The menu is huge and you're sure to find something to fill your appetite.

This was my 1st time here and the service was absolutely the amazing! The food was so delicious, right down to my glass of Tea. My waitress was so kind and was open to making suggestions to us. The wings were great and the fresh hot waffles were delicious! She made sure we were happy with our dinner choices. I asked for my dessert to go, she wrapped it up tightly for a safe trip home. When I asked for more Tea they even gave me a cup to go! As we left she gave my Son another suggestion for our "next" visit! I wish I would of gotten her name. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for making us feel welcome as if we were "regulars"
